Terms of use

About these terms
These terms apply to your use of https://drfarhathashimeacademy.com and to classes provided by Dr. Farhat Hashime Academy ("the academy", "we", "us"). By booking a trial, enrolling or using the website you agree to them. Where a learner is under 18, a parent or guardian agrees on their behalf and is responsible for the learner's attendance and conduct.
Our classes
Classes are live, one-to-one online sessions with a teacher, usually 30 to 45 minutes. We share the class link before each session.
Learners need a device with a stable internet connection, a working microphone and, ideally, a headset and a quiet space. We cannot reschedule or refund time lost to the learner's own connection or device problems.
We match each learner with a suitable teacher and may change the assigned teacher where needed, for example for availability, and will tell you in advance where we can.
Free trial
The 1-week free trial gives you real classes with one of our teachers at no charge. It carries no obligation to enrol, and we never ask for card details for the trial. Trial slots depend on teacher availability, and we may limit trials to one per learner.
Fees and payment
Fees are paid monthly in advance. The prices shown on the Fees page are starting prices for 5 classes per week and may vary with the course, number of classes and learner. We confirm the exact fee with you on WhatsApp before you enrol.
Fees in currencies other than US dollars are approximate conversions shown for convenience. The amount we confirm with you is the amount you pay.
We may change our fees with advance notice. A change never affects a month you have already paid for.
Sibling and family rates may be offered and are confirmed individually.
Stopping, pausing and refunds
There is no long-term contract. You may pause or stop classes at any time by giving reasonable notice (we ask for at least 7 days where possible) by WhatsApp or through the contact form.
Fees already paid for classes that have been delivered are non-refundable. If you stop part-way through a paid month, we will review any undelivered classes fairly and may credit or refund them at our discretion.
Attendance and rescheduling
Please tell us as early as you can, and at least 4 hours before the class where possible, if you cannot attend so a new time can be arranged.
Classes missed without notice, or cancelled at very short notice, may not be rescheduled. If we or the teacher cancel, we will offer a replacement class.
If a learner is more than 15 minutes late without notice, the class may be treated as missed.
Conduct
We expect respectful behaviour from learners, parents and teachers. We may end a class or a learner's place if conduct is abusive, disruptive or unsafe.
Classes may not be recorded, photographed or shared by anyone without the prior permission of the teacher and the academy. For children's safety, we recommend a parent or guardian is nearby during a young learner's class.
Educational content and results
Progress depends on the learner's effort, regularity and practice at home, so we cannot guarantee specific results or completion dates, for example when a learner will finish a course or complete memorisation.
Teachers share Quranic and Islamic knowledge in good faith and in line with mainstream teaching. Matters of religious ruling should be referred to a qualified scholar.
Website use and intellectual property
The website content, including text, design, logo and images, belongs to the academy or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal use, but may not copy, republish or sell our content, or use the site to send spam, attempt to break into it or disrupt it.
Links to third-party sites such as WhatsApp or social media are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content or policies.
Liability
We provide the website and classes with reasonable care, but to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, interruptions caused by internet, power or platform outages, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time, with the latest version always shown here. Continuing to use the website or classes after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Pakistan, unless the law of your country gives you rights that cannot be waived.
